 Sticker trouble, Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Rubbermaid Commercial Products FG650900WHT Dur-X Lid For 6302 04 06 08 (Kitchen) I understand these products are made for restaurant kitchens, but Cook's Illustrated recommended the lid/ storage container for ease of use and access. I agree. Though I found it nearly impossible to get the stickers off! Also, you have to push somewhat hard to lock the lid in place. The description, as you can see, says "The lid fits ALL Carb-x and Dur-x Space Saving Containers". Amazon does not provide the dimensions, so I took their word that the lid would fit my containers. Actually, it it too small and is designed for smaller Carb-X containers. The correct lid is the #6523, which Amazon also sells but which cannot be found unless you already know the correct item #. Of course Amazon feels this is not their error.The lid itself is perfectly nice, if you have the right sized container. This is actually a review of Amazon's description and procedures, not the Rubbermaid product. |
